I am excited to begin my third year at Hoosier Academies! I am thrilled to be teaching 6th grade this year. I look forward to partnering with students and learning coaches to help students achieve their academic goals this year.
From a very early age, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher and make a difference in the lives of children. I graduated from Taylor University and have been teaching for 18 years. I have taught first, second, seventh and eight grade and preschool in the inner city, private schools, and now at Hoosier Academies. I am married and have five girls. (I even have a sixth grade daughter this year!) I love spending time with my family. My girls are involved in a lot of extra activities. If I have extra time, I love to read, go to the pool, go on long walks and travel.
I am looking forward to having the BEST 6th grade class at Hoosier and celebrating many successes with you this year!
“Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere.”

The Function of Education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character-that is the goal of true education. Martin Luther King Jr.
